A little East London boy
Just down the road from me in East London, a pottery called the Bow Porcelain Company created some of the most beautiful porcelain items made in the 18th Century. They are modest, meant for the middle class market rather than the very exclusive top level market, and there were many innocent-looking beautiful figures such as this little boy.
It feels amazing to have this little fella sitting on my table, 250 years after he saw the light not far from here.
