Born in 1799, he was only in his twenties when he painted this gorgeous dessert service, some time between 1825 and 1830. Watch the video to understand why he was such a special painter... This wonderful service has now been sold, but there are other new ones here in my shop.... and here are some more pictures for you to enjoy! this week's new treasures: #gentlerattleofchina #antiqueporcelain #englishantiques #teatime #highteaparty #teacupcollector #antiqueteacups #teapot #19thcentury #vintageteaparty #rattlethecups #dinnerservice #dessertservice #tablesetting #interiordesign #homedecor

A trip to Worcester

After some absence, back today! But a simple blog post only, as my laptop is still in the laptop hospital (luckily most humans are healthy again, although I am still waiting for my dad to get out of the hospital) so I am navigating the world from my smart phone. This week I went on a trip to Worcester, and I have made a little film showing some of the wonderful items in the Royal Worcester Museum. If you ever are near Worcester, go to the museum - it is fabulous! And the recent furbishment really pays off. Watch my video and join me on a visual tour! (please click the link below - I can't embed it from my phone...) https://youtu.be/DEtXlg7ziGY
